Artist's Description
A panoramic view of Ilfracombe Harbour. This picturesque harbour is a working fishing harbour on the North Devon coastline. This is a famous harbour hugely popular with visitors all year round, and features many high quality independent art galleries, craft shops, local businesses, restaurants, an established yacht club, and has a huge steel and bronze statue, called Verity (which represents truth and justice), located at the entrance of the harbour. Ilfracombe is a beautiful harbour surrounded by hills and cliffs. Famous historical passenger vessels such as The Balmoral and the PS Waverley regularly visit the harbour during the spring and summer months, and the MS Oldenburg regularly takes passengers to Lundy Island on day cruises.
